Bhadohi Manufacturing Discipline

The Architectural Depth of Tibetan Knotting

Dense pile, tactile depth, and modern geometric restraint hand-knotted on vertical looms in Bhadohi.

The Craft & Production Architecture

Tibetan cross-weaving uses a continuous rod around which master weavers knot yarn, creating an exceptionally resilient, plush pile with subtle textural striations. Ocean Art Collection customizes Tibetan-weave rugs for high-end hospitality suites, luxury penthouses, and private estates across the United States.

Weaving & Loom Process

Woven on heavy vertical wooden looms using the authentic rod-loop knotting technique. Each row of knots is compacted with heavy iron beating combs before being sheared to exact architectural pile heights.

Fiber Provenance & Dyeing

Long-staple New Zealand wool, indigenous Indian mountain wool, natural unbleached cotton warp, and optional raw tussar silk accents.
