Artisanal Dhurries: Reversible, Flatwoven Grace

Centuries-old Indian panja flatweave techniques engineered for contemporary spaces and high-traffic modern living.

Lightweight, Breathable & Fully Reversible

Dhurries are traditional Indian flatweaves created without pile, where the warp and weft interlace tightly to form a flat, reversible rug. Crafted using traditional panja iron hand-claws in Bhadohi, our dhurries offer effortless maintenance, organic drape, and unmatched versatility for warm and temperate climates.

Weaving Technique

Flatwoven on horizontal and vertical pit-looms where weavers interlock wool or cotton weft threads directly through the warp, tightening each pass with an iron panja claw.

Materials Used

100% Indian carded wool, recycled organic cotton warp, bleached and natural undyed linen cords.
